Steely McGnome Predicts: Steelers vs Chiefs - 2016
Well. Well. Well. That was quite the shitburger last week against the Eagles. (ah you see what I did there. Shit-Burger. oh me.) And it always seems as if Reid has the Steelers number, hence the terrible performance. I don't even know, guess I'll low ball the score this week. Who knows. Bells back!!!

Playoff Bound
![]() |
| I really wanted to make my own, but meh. |
Not going to lie, I had my doubts about this team time and again. There were definitely games that made me think what the hell was going on and it seemed like another wasted opportunity to get Ben back to the playoffs. Good thing I was wrong. The Steelers have come together on all fronts the past several weeks. Yeah, the defense has given up some yards, but keeping the Chiefs out of the endzone was a big answer to the haters (including myself here) of that defense. The past few weeks the opposing defense has keyed on Bell. Good thing the Steelers offense is full of weapons. You can stop one, but not them all.
Onto the last week of the 2014 NFL season and a shot at the AFC North Title.
Here we go.

Ouchies: Steelers vs Chiefs Recap
Still find it hard to believe that Ben got hurt from that hit. I've seen that man take hits that would have knocked other QBs out for the year. And that it took overtime to beat the Chiefs.
Steelers 16
Chiefs 13
Way off my outlandish prediction for sure. But the way the Steelers had been playing, I thought they would run away with the game. Running is something the Steelers couldn't do at all, in fact even with Ben the offense was pretty stale last night night. No running game and the lack of Antonio Brown didn't help at all. The Steelers offense was just off their game last night and it was hard to watch.
Despite the fact that the Chiefs seemed to be able to run at will on the defense they just couldn't move the ball when needed. The bend not break mentality of the Steelers D right there. Plus in the fourth quarter the D stepped up when the offense couldn't move the ball and got a take away at the right time. A win is a win in the NFL, and this game could have went the other way the AFC West dominance over the Steelers this season isn't going to happen.
Good thing I was drinking during the game though, I needed that numbness.

Ugly: Steelers vs Chiefs Recap

Steelers 13 Chiefs 9
What an ugly game, but the Steelers won and I'll take it. The offense just couldn't seem to get on the right track at all and I'm blaming Ben. He's a big boy and needs to recognize what the defense is bringing and needs to audible the play to counter it. Plus, the Steelers didn't go into their no-huddle mode at all, this just let the Chiefs defense cover the wideouts and continue to stop the Steelers drive after drive. I expect this from a budding young team, but Ben is a top NFL QB, he's getting the blame for the stalled offense this week.
The Defense got the job done, getting those interceptions from the poorly thrown balls was great to see since the Steelers haven't done much in the take away category this season. Losing Troy to a concussion really sucked. I swear the pressure wasn't there again this week. Just wondering if LeBeau is playing his defensive calls close to his chest saving formations for the playoffs?? Don't know, just want to see some more sacks/QB Pressure on the younger quarterbacks they face.
Announcing
Sunday Night Football on NBC. That's Al Michaels and Douchy-McDouche Chris Collinsdouche. Hate Collinsdouche, hate the announcing from all networks. Focus on the game, the chitter-chatter about stories that have nothing to do with the game are just extremely annoying.

Steely McGnome Predicts: Steelers vs Chiefs

I have no idea if this is the starting Quarterback for the Chiefs or not this week, since they signed neckbeard this week. Whatever, Flying Woodley doesn't care who the QB is, he'll still wreck shop, even on the sidelines.
