Hines Ward BECOME ONE: Episode 12 - Pre-Race Nerves
This is the 12th episode in the BECOME ONE series, it is the pre-race nerves haunting Hines, you know a two-time Super Bowl Champion. Guess those nerves will always be there.
I have to say, for Hines Ward to go out and train for the Iron Man competition is kind of crazy to me. Since there is no way I could do this. Now if it's a Mile Run, 100 foot swim, and 2 mile bike ride competition, I'm in. Actually someone set that up, make it happen.

Hines Ward is still greater than you - BECOME ONE: Episode 4 - Facing Fears
Hines Ward, afraid of sharks?? No way, he could just put a big block on a shark and take him. Come on Hines!!!
Keep going Hines, because I'm never doing that. Sharks scare me.

Changing of the Guard
I knew this day would come.
Hines Ward, Aaron Smith, and James Farrior could only play for the Steelers for so long. I don't have to like, but the time has come. Those guys played their asses off for the Steelers and will be remembered as some of the greats.
I'm about half hoping everyone passes on Hines Ward and the Steelers can bring him back at the veteran minimum for one more season so he can retire a Steeler. If he plays for another team next year it'll just be wrong.
Farrior, he's slowed down a lot this past season, but at 37 the guy had a great season, great career. At this point he's eating up a roster spot.
Smith, really sucks he's had injury issues the past few seasons. I could have seen him playing a little while longer. Rotating on the line while the younger defensive lineman gain some experience.
I'm sure there will be more, but these guys were just stalwarts at their respected positions.
Happy Trails. You'll be missed.

Don't want this drama

Hines Ward entering the final year in his contract with the Steelers and it looks like the Steelers are going to cut him for salary reasons. If Hines wants to play one more year, bring him back Pittsburgh. Just make sure you let him know, he's not coming back after next season. He deserves to retire as a Steeler, if he decides to play after next season well, one he's dumb and two that's his choice to not retire as a Steeler.
He's earned that right, don't take it away from him.

Hines Ward: Champion

Again, late to the party. Damn NFL Lockout really just has me bummed about anything NFL/Steelers related. I just don't care about it.
Still, Hines Ward was on the show Dancing with the Stars (see my extremely exciting blog post about it). I did not watch it at all, sorry could not bring myself to watch that show. Even if one of my favorite Steelers player was on it. Just lame.
Apparently by the picture shown above, Hines won. Hines is just so damn awesome he can accomplish anything. Unlike Chad "don't call me Ochocinco anymore" Johnson, who is just a loser at anything. I know the above picture has some half-naked dancer chick in the picture, it's just not as cool as the one below.

Hines Ward is a dancer now or something

I know, this has been news for a while now, but I'm only now getting around to it. Hines Ward is on dancing with the stars, maybe I'll watch it now.
No.
No I will not.
Think the premiere was this past week, I have no idea how well he did. Since you know I did not watch the show because I really have no interest whatsoever in watching dancing.
I kind of hope Hines wins the competition just to shove it in Chad Oinchostinko's face.
